Job Title: Branch Accountant Intern
Job Locations: Mwanza, Kagera, Geita, Mara

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of vouchers, making payments, and maintaining accounting registers.
- Generate and submit monthly financial reports.
- Perform daily cash vs bank reconciliations.
- Maintain up-to-date records and post entries into the system regularly.
- Ensure accuracy by reviewing and correcting errors identified during visits.
- Manage physical and digital assets, including tagging and reconciliation.
- Support internal and external audit processes and respond to audit reports on time.
- Implement safeguarding standards in all tasks.
- Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent field from a recognized institution.
- Fresh graduates with fieldwork experience or 1–2 years of experience in the microfinance sector or related programs.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- Basic knowledge of entrepreneurship and relevant financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
