About the Role: Sales Operations Coordinator at Qatar Airways

As part of Qatar Airways’ ongoing transformation journey, the airline is recruiting a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator. You will be responsible for executing daily sales operations tasks across the assigned region, ensuring five-star service to both internal sales teams and external trade partners.

This role plays a critical part in facilitating revenue-generating activities, maintaining strong team spirit, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all sales operations tasks.
  • Execute sales operations activities including:
    • Reservations and Ticketing
    • Trade/Corporate Account Support
    • Group Sales Management
    • Sales Support and Sales Systems Administration
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with external trade partners regarding campaigns, policy changes, and fare revisions.
  • Support the sales team by maintaining an up-to-date database of trade partners within the region.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance metrics to line managers and regional management.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Handle customer documentation and communicate with QR Account Managers for completion.
  • Process refunds and manage platforms such as Galaxy and the Trade Portal.
  • Produce and share monthly performance reports for relevant markets.
  • Upload PLB and corporate contracts into Galaxy.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, Qatar Airways is looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Education: High School Qualification or Equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in reservations/ticketing, sales support, group sales, tariffs, distribution, or business analysis.
  • Skills:
    • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
    • Strong PC literacy, particularly MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
    • Good knowledge of airline processes (Pricing, Distribution Technology) and travel industry systems (e.g., Amadeus, GDS)
    • Problem-solving mindset and efficiency orientation
    • Strong mentoring, coaching, and teamwork skills
