Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall strategic leadership and direction for the Youth Empowerment Project.
- Act as the main liaison between FINCA Tanzania, FINCA Canada, and other implementing partners.
- Align project implementation plans and KPIs with donor requirements.
- Organize joint planning sessions and routine coordination meetings with stakeholders.
- Represent the project in FINCA’s Executive Committee (EXCO) and donor engagements.
- Develop and update project implementation and annual work plans.
- Establish schedules, define responsibilities, and communicate milestones clearly.
- Oversee project execution from initiation to closure, including partner-led activities.
- Facilitate collaboration and integration across departments (marketing, finance, M&E).
- Conduct joint reviews to assess performance and ensure accountability.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, and budget adherence, managing any necessary changes.
- Track and evaluate partner performance and support corrective actions when needed.
- Lead accurate and timely data consolidation for progress and donor reports.
- Ensure financial reports align with project budgets and donor compliance.
- Maintain central documentation for all financial and programmatic records.
- Document and disseminate success stories and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in managing donor-funded development projects.
- At least 3 years managing consortium or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Strong background in project cycle management, partner coordination, budgeting, and donor reporting.
