Role Purpose:
As the Business Development Manager at Precision Air, you will drive revenue growth, streamline costs, and enhance operational efficiency while maintaining robust stakeholder relations. Reporting directly to the Head of Department (HOD), you will be a key player in implementing strategic initiatives, evaluating market opportunities, and championing regulatory and governmental engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic and Business Development
- Identify and collaborate with departments to improve revenue streams, cost efficiencies, and operational processes.
- Track implementation of company strategy alongside Heads of Departments.
- Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and growth areas.
- Analyze cost structures and recommend areas for savings and improvement.
Regulatory and Government Affairs
- Monitor aviation regulatory developments affecting the airline and provide actionable insights.
- Liaise with government bodies to support Precision Air’s access to new and existing markets.
- Maintain and grow strategic relationships with the Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority, and international aviation bodies like IATA, AFRAA, and ICAO.
- Secure key operational permits, licenses, and codeshare agreements.
- Advocate for equitable market access and protect the airline’s traffic and routing rights.
Operational Excellence
- Manage HOD meetings, including documentation, implementation tracking, and coordination.
- Oversee the HOD office operations, ensuring effective handling of incoming and outgoing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Records Management policies and train staff on documentation best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with embassies and consulates in key operational markets.
