Key Responsibilities
Interns in the UNFPA Internship Programme 2025 will undertake the following tasks:
- Monitor trends and provide insights into the political, social, and economic landscapes relevant to sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and population development in selected middle-income countries.
- Assist in drafting policy briefs, reports, and relevant research outputs, particularly in connection with the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) Programme of Action.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of technical cooperation programmes aimed at sustainable financing and national development planning.
- Contribute to organizing MIC-Hub-led trainings, consultations, and conferences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the MIC-Hub, ESARO.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the internship, applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Have recently graduated with a university degree from a recognized institution.
- Be in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (e.g., bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Be enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate programme (e.g., master’s or higher).
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme at a recognized institution and undertaking the internship as part of the programme.
