Position: Driver

Location: Twiga Cement
Reporting To: Shift Manager
Application Deadline: May 28, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles as required, even on short notice or during emergencies.
Maintain flexibility with an on-call schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Report mechanical issues promptly and uphold vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
Accurately document trip logs and delivery records.
Strictly follow all company and national safety, health, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.
Uphold the company’s Code of Business Conduct and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shift Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of Form Four (Ordinary Level) education.
Solid knowledge of Tanzanian traffic laws and road safety protocols.
Possess a valid Tanzanian driving license (Class C or above) from NIT.
Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience with a recognized company.
Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and problem-solving skills.
