About EACOP
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a major midstream infrastructure initiative stretching 1,443 km across Uganda and Tanzania, designed to transport crude oil from Kabaale-Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania. Once operational, the pipeline will serve as a key export channel for crude oil, positioning East Africa on the global energy map.
Purpose of the Program
The EACOP Internship and Graduate Trainee Programs aim to develop the next generation of industry professionals. By offering real-world experience across various departments, these programs not only build technical competence but also promote local content development, regional economic inclusion, and sustainable energy practices.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2025
EACOP Paid Internship & Graduate Trainee Program 2025, Duration: July 7 – September 30, 2025 (12 weeks)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Tanzanian citizenship
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree at a recognized national university
- Submission of a student ID and university endorsement letter
- Academic potential indicating an Upper Second Class degree
- Aged between 18–28
- Full-time availability during the internship
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Women are highly encouraged to apply
