Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team in Geita. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships while contributing to the overall business strategy of MPS. Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and explore new market opportunities to grow client base.
- Develop strategic marketing initiatives aligned with company goals.
Sales Management
- Execute sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts.
- Track and analyze sales performance to inform business decisions.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients.
- Address client needs promptly and deliver customized solutions.
Marketing Strategy
- Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
Team Collaboration
- Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members when required.
Financial and Market Analysis
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends for informed strategy development.
- Contribute to financial planning through insights from market intelligence.
Product and Promotion Support
- Work with product teams to align offerings with customer needs.
- Assist in creating compelling marketing and promotional materials.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure adherence to relevant marketing and advertising regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales or marketing within the supply, procurement, or hardware sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer service, and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and digital marketing tools is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
