The Digital Balozi Programme is your opportunity to ignite change, gain career-ready skills, and empower local entrepreneurs across Tanzania. DOT Gradaute Digital Balozi Programme 2025, Launched by Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), this 7-month youth leadership and empowerment initiative is designed to equip young changemakers with 21st-century skills and deploy them to drive economic and digital inclusion in their communities.
Whether you’re from Mwanza, Tanga, or Pemba, this is your chance to lead a movement of digital transformation at the grassroots level.
What Is the Digital Balozi Programme?
The Digital Balozi Programme recruits, trains, and deploys young leaders to support youth and women-led businesses in their communities. As a Digital Balozi, you will receive training in:
- Digital Skills
- Green Economy & Sustainability
- Financial Literacy
- Coaching & Facilitation
Following the training, you’ll be placed in your local region to deliver workshops, mentorship, and digital solutions that help small businesses thrive sustainably.
This hands-on experience also includes career coaching and support, making you more competitive in the job market.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be aged between 18–35 years
- Be currently residing in Mwanza, Tanga, or Pemba
- Be a recent graduate from a recognized college or university
- Own a digital device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop)
- Have a strong passion for community development and innovation
