CALL FOR 694 VOLUNTEER TEACHERS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
In line with the Primary Teacher Allocation Protocol (P-TAP) as outlined in the GPE-TSP Project Document, PO-RALG is inviting applications from qualified teacher education graduates to volunteer in selected primary schools across different Local Government Authorities (LGAs). A total of 694 positions are available for volunteers who will serve in schools with the greatest demand for teaching staff.
1.0 APPLICATION PERIOD
Interested candidates should submit their applications via the Online Teachers Application System (OTEAS) available at ajira.tamisemi.go.tz from 17th May to 30th May 2025.
2.0 ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must have completed teacher training programs from government-recognized institutions and must have graduated between 2015 and 2023. TAMISEMI Teaching 694 Volunteer Vacancies May 2025
3.0 REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Grade III A Teacher – Certificate in Primary Education
- Grade III B Teacher – Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Grade III B Teacher – Diploma in Primary Education
4.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a Tanzanian citizen;
- Be not older than 43 years of age;
- Attach copies of:
- Birth Certificate
- Form IV and/or Form VI academic certificates
- Teacher Training Certificate or Diploma
- Be willing to serve in remote and high-need primary schools;
- Not be employed by the Government or any other institution;
- Not have been dismissed or retired from public service on disciplinary grounds;
- Possess a valid National ID Number (NIDA);
- Attach all relevant documents to the OTEAS system;
- For those who completed secondary education abroad, provide a NECTA Equivalent Number (EQ…) issued by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania.
