Are you a young resident of Lindi dreaming of advancing your skills in technical trades? The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) – in partnership with Equinor Tanzania AS and Shell Exploration Tanzania Limited – is pleased to announce the Fully Funded VETA–Lindi Equinor & Shell Scholarship 2025, indeed is for eligible youth to pursue Level 3 vocational training in six priority trades.

Available Trades at VETA Lindi
Selected applicants will receive training in one of the following trades:
- Electrical Installation
- Welding and Metal Fabrication
- Masonry and Brick Laying
- Design Sewing
- Textile Technology
- Motor Vehicle Mechanics, and also
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will be awarded a fully funded scholarship covering:
- Full tuition fees
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Medical insurance
- Transportation and also
- Start-up toolkits
Training Duration: 12 months
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the VETA–Lindi Equinor Shell Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- firstly Must have completed Level 2 and be eligible for Level 3.
- Must have passed Form Four Examinations and obtained a certificate.
- Must be a resident or native of Lindi, aged 35 years or below.
- Priority will be given to:
- Female applicants
- Persons with disabilities
- Youth from low-income households and finally
- Unemployed youth
Application Process
Interested candidates should:
- Write an application letter and attach a completed application form for Level 3 studies at VETA Lindi RVTSC in the preferred trade. Fully Funded VETA–Lindi Equinor & Shell Scholarship 2025/2026
- Attach an introductory letter from your local Street/Village/Ward Executive Officer confirming your residency or origin in Lindi and also
- Submit your application in-person or electronically to the contact provided below.
