ICAP at Columbia University is seeking a dynamic Program Director to lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of CQUIN and HIVE learning networks. These networks are dedicated to strengthening HIV programming through collaboration with Ministries of Health, funding agencies, implementing partners, and civil society groups in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Since March 2025, CQUIN and HIVE have strategically expanded their focus to enhance joint learning and foster country-to-country collaboration on HIV program integration and sustainability. The Program Director will be instrumental in coordinating these efforts, providing technical assistance, and driving innovation in HIV interventions across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of CQUIN and HIVE strategies and activities.
  • Engage with country teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with national health priorities and global HIV goals.
  • Supervise technical staff and manage project deliverables efficiently.
  • Organize workshops, facilitate knowledge sharing, and provide technical assistance to Ministries of Health and partners.
  • Drive the integration and sustainability of HIV programs through evidence-based approaches and collaborative networks.
  • Monitor program impact and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced degree in medicine, nursing, global health, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating HIV programs in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with Ministries of Health, funding bodies, and global partners.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-country health programs funded by major donors.
