1. Position Title: Assistant Printer II (8 Positions)
Department: Prime Minister’s Office – Policy, Parliament, and Coordination
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Printer II, you will be responsible for:
- Folding hard paper and creating book, magazine, and notebook covers through binding, stitching, or pasting.
- Repairing books, journals, and official records by re-covering or restoring them based on their damage level.
- Arranging printed materials in sets or specified dimensions in shelves.
- Operating paper-cutting, printing, composing, stitching, and binding machines to produce required materials.
- Organizing paper for printing, including arranging by count for books, magazines, and notebooks to ensure proper binding and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a Form IV or Form VI certificate with Science or Arts subjects.
- Possess a Trade Test Grade I or Level III certificate in Lithography, Composing, Binding, or Machine Binding; or

- Must be a Tanzanian citizen not older than 45 years, unless already employed in the public sector.
