Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Trainee, your primary focus will be delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily banking transactions. Your duties will include:
Customer Service & Financial Advice
- Offer sound advice to customers on a range of financial issues.
- Handle inquiries and complaints related to banking products and services.
- Ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
Cash & Cheque Handling
- Provide high-quality cash services to customers.
- Verify that account numbers and instruments are properly recorded.
- Ensure cheques are presented and processed correctly:
- Check that the payee’s name matches the account and deposit slip.
- Confirm cheques are properly drawn and endorsed.
- Accurately record payee numbers on the reverse of cheque deposits.
Daily Operational Tasks
- Accept and post cash and cheque deposits, as well as money orders.
- Process cash payments in line with authorized instruments.
- Issue cheque-on-self payments when required.
- Provide customers with accurate cash change.
- Monitor and manage cash levels in the till throughout the day.
- Deposit surplus cash into the strong room securely.
- Reconcile end-of-day cash balances with internal reports, Also

Educational & Professional Requirements
