1. Office Management Secretary II – 5 Positions

Key Responsibilities

  • Typing official and confidential documents and correspondence.
  • Receiving guests, attending to their queries, and directing them accordingly.
  • Managing schedules, appointments, meeting dates, and travel plans for supervisors.
  • Retrieving and filing important office documents and records.
  • Distributing files to relevant departments and officers.
  • Collecting, organizing, and returning office documents appropriately.
  • Preparing summaries and arranging for meetings.
  • Coordinating procurement of office supplies.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications Required

  • Must have completed Form IV or Form VI education.
  • Must possess a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Secretarial Studies.
  • Must have passed shorthand in both Swahili and English at 100 wpm.
  • Must have computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher.
  • Certification must be from a recognized institution approved by the government.

Salary Scale

  • Based on the Government Salary Scale TGS C.

2. Driver II – 4 Positions

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting employees on official duties as per legal and operational guidelines.
  • Collecting and distributing official documents as directed.
  • Maintaining an updated vehicle logbook for all trips.
  • Performing basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is always in good working condition.
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by a supervisor.

Qualifications Required

  • Must have completed Form IV or Form VI education.
  • Must hold a valid Class C or E driving license, with at least one year of driving experience.
  • Must have completed a Basic Driving Course from VETA or a government-recognized training institution.

Salary Scale

  • Based on the Government Salary Scale TGS B.

General Application Conditions

  1. Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45.

  8. All academic and professional certificates must be legally certified, including:
    • Secondary education certificates (Form IV & VI)
    • Diploma/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Postgraduate certificates
    • Computer training certificates
    • Professional board registration certificates (if applicable)
  9. Applicants with foreign qualifications must ensure their certificates are verified by TCU, NACTE, or NECTA.
  10. False information or forged certificates will result in legal action.
  11. Application letters can be written in Kiswahili or English.
