- South African citizen (by birth)
- Must have 0–1 year work experience
- Under 26 years old
- Completed undergraduate degree or equivalent by end of 2025
- Minimum 65% academic average
- B-degree (BCom, BSc, B-Tech) – NQF 7 or a 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Computer Software Engineering
- Information Systems / Information Technology
