As a result, the Executive Director of Kaliua District Council warmly invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies:
1. Records Management Assistant Grade II – 4 Positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Register incoming mail in the official logbook (Incoming Correspondence Register).
- Log outgoing mail (Outgoing Correspondence Register).
- Distribute files to respective officers for action.
- Receive files returned to the registry from departments.
- File documents in designated cabinets or storage areas.
- Track the circulation of files within and outside the institution.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed Form IV or Form VI education.
- Possess a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized institution.
- Must have basic computer literacy.
Salary Scale: Government Salary Scale TGS
2. Driver Grade II – 3 Positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety.
- Transport government staff to various work-related destinations.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain accurate trip logs (Log Book).
- Collect and deliver official documents.
- Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Form IV certificate.
- Valid Class E or C driving license, with at least one year of experience driving accident-free.
- Must have completed a Basic Driving Course from VETA or any other government-recognized institution.
- Must attach certified copies of driving certificates qualifying for the specified license classes.
Salary Scale: Government Salary Scale TGS B
