Key Roles and Responsibilities

As an ALP Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting farmers, promoting best practices, and ensuring compliance with agricultural labor standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Training farmers and stakeholders in all aspects related to ALP.
  • Collecting farm information and monitoring farmers under your supervision.
  • Managing and following up on prompt actions raised through CroMIS.
  • Organizing and maintaining accurate ALP follow-up records and decisions.
  • Preparing and submitting timely weekly and monthly activity reports.
  • Supervising field technicians on social-related activities.
  • Ensuring proper recordkeeping of all ALP program materials and inputs.
  • Coordinating with social-related stakeholders and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
  • Advising GAP Technicians on agricultural labor practices.
  • Supporting incident reporting, follow-up, and remediation processes.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A Diploma in Human Resource Management, Social Community, Public Administration, Sociology, Law, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in community, social, or planning activities.
  • Knowledge in extension services and outreach programs.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Training skills (added advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Competence in motorbike riding with a valid license.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
  • Readiness to live and work in remote areas.

Reporting

Successful candidates will report directly to the ALP Supervisor on day-to-day activities.
