The Role: Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment used in gypsum manufacturing. Your goal will be to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and safety of machinery while driving process improvements and innovation. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams in production, quality assurance, and maintenance to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in production lines and machinery.
  • Analyze processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Implement innovative engineering solutions to boost equipment performance and energy efficiency.
  • Plan and execute routine maintenance of plant machinery.
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical abilities.
