As an Internal Auditor at MCL, you will play a pivotal role in protecting company assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving improvements in internal processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning
- Develop and implement risk-based internal audit plans aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Internal Controls Oversight
- Evaluate and enhance the design and effectiveness of internal controls across operations.
Audit Execution
- Conduct audits of policies, procedures, business operations, IT systems, applications, and financial reporting systems in accordance with approved plans.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with management and external auditors to address findings, implement recommended improvements, and adopt best practices.
Monitoring and Follow-Up
- Track the implementation of audit recommendations and monitor ongoing adherence to internal controls and policies.
Reporting
- Prepare and submit comprehensive quarterly audit reports to the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and modern audit methodologies to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA, ACCA, or CISA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in auditing, preferably with digital platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to identify operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills to present audit findings effectively.
