Key Responsibilities
As a French-Speaking Driver Guide, you will:
- Drive and guide guests on game drives within Mikumi National Park.
- Provide expert wildlife interpretation and storytelling in both French and English.
- Ensure guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the safari experience.
- Maintain safari vehicles to professional standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with safari operations teams to deliver world-class experiences.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
- A valid Tanzanian C-class driving license approved by LATRA.
- A Tour Guide License (TALA) issued by relevant Tanzanian authorities.
- Certification in Advanced PSV driving (VETA or equivalent).
- A valid First Aid training certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years guiding experience in Tanzanian national parks.
- Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecosystems, and safari etiquette.
- Excellent communication, hospitality, and guest-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle electronics.
