Position: Driver Coordinator
Location: Arusha, Tanzania
Reports to: Director
The Driver Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing truck scheduling, managing driver communications, and ensuring timely and smooth deliveries for customers. This role requires someone with excellent organizational skills, loyalty, and strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule trucks for customer deliveries.
- Maintain active communication with drivers during trips.
- Track truck movements and prepare basic operational reports.
- Keep accurate trip and driver records.
- Ensure smooth coordination between drivers and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in administration or coordination (experience in logistics/transport is an added advantage).
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), email, and basic office tools.
- Demonstrated loyalty and stability in past employment.
