Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Exploration and Mining Geology/Geology.
- 4–6 years of experience in open-cast mine geology.
- Proficiency in geological survey software.
- Ability to read and prepare geological maps.
- Familiarity with government mining regulations.
- Experience in mine planning and documentation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform allocated geological tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and submit weekly MIS reports.
- Monitor land records, legal documents, and geological data.
- Handle unplanned work assignments efficiently.
- Support mine planning and procurement according to SOPs.
- Inspect mining lands and conduct geological assessments.
- Focus on continuous skill development.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Hands-on experience in applied geology and mine planning.
- Proficiency in mine planning software.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and integrity.
