About the Role
As an HR and Administration Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources department in various capacities. You will be actively involved in recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance monitoring, and general administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Onboarding/Offboarding:
- Assist in the hiring process, including screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Manage onboarding procedures for new staff, ensuring proper registration in systems and delivery of office equipment.
- Facilitate staff induction sessions and coordinate with departments or field offices.
- Oversee offboarding processes, including exit formalities and file closure.
2. Benefits Administration:
- Ensure employees receive entitled benefits upon joining.
- Manage the removal of benefits for exiting staff.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and the HR department in line with organizational policies.
3. Compliance with Labor Laws and Internal Policies:
- Monitor adherence to internal HR policies and national labor regulations.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met according to organizational dashboards and schedules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to complete compliance tasks for each office or employee.
4. Administrative Support:
- Assist in monthly departmental procurement planning.
- Ensure office purchases meet technical and organizational standards in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Support the smooth running of office operations by maintaining essential services and resources.
5. Communication and Employee Support:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries and complaints efficiently.
- Build and maintain relationships with service providers to enhance the value of services delivered to the organization.
