The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) has released an important update for applicants of the 2025 volunteer teacher positions in public primary schools. TAMISEMI 128 Volunteer Teacher Call for Work 2025, Tamisemi New Call for work Placement 2025.
According to the new announcement, 128 volunteer teaching positions have been filled by eligible applicants who submitted their applications between May 17 and May 30, 2025. These new recruits are replacing the previously selected 128 volunteer teachers who failed to report to their assigned schools between August 18 and August 31, 2025. Access the List of Selected Applicants, The official list of the 128 qualified and selected volunteer teachers is now available on the TAMISEMI website: www.tamisemi.go.tz.
Reporting Instructions
All newly selected volunteer teachers are required to report to the Directors of their respective Local Government Authorities (LGAs) where their assigned schools are located. Reporting will take place from October 15 to October 21, 2025. During reporting, each teacher must:
- Present original academic certificates for verification.
- Sign the Volunteer Teacher Employment Agreement with their employer.
- Collect their official deployment letter to the assigned school.
