Arusha Meat Company is officially registered under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. The company specializes in the slaughter and processing of cattle, goats, and sheep, and is known for producing a wide variety of high-quality meat products. Due to operational needs, the positions of Finance Manager and Store Keeper have been re-advertised.
1. Accountant (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly income and expenditure reports
- Participate in the preparation of payment and receipt vouchers
- Generate monthly payroll reports
- Reconcile bank and other financial accounts
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Compile daily revenue reports
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized institution
- CPA (T) certification or equivalent recognized by NBAA is an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Salary:
Based on AMCL salary scale AMC 7
2. Store Keeper (1 Position) – Re-advertised
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store
- Issue materials and products in accordance with approved procedures
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and compliance
- Monitor raw material and supply needs, reporting shortages
- Keep procurement and inventory records
- Handle other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Procurement and Supply from a recognized institution or PSPTB Foundation Stage I & II
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in computer applications
Salary:
Based on AMCL salary scale AMC 1
3. Finance & Accounting Manager (1 Position) – Re-advertised
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the General Manager on all financial matters
- Oversee company revenue collection and ensure timely banking
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget with departmental heads
- Identify and improve revenue streams in collaboration with the General Manager
- Supervise expenditure in line with approved budgets
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations and government regulations
- Manage and delegate duties within the finance department
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports
- Organize departmental meetings to address challenges and improvements
- Handle any other financial tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution
- CPA (T) or equivalent qualification recognized by NBAA
- At least 3 years’ experience in final accounts preparation
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
Salary:
Based on AMCL salary scale AMCM 1
