Job Overview:

As an Area Sales Supervisor, you will lead AzamPesa’s regional sales operations, ensuring strong market penetration, operational excellence, and superior customer service. This role requires strong leadership, strategic execution, and a deep understanding of regional dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Supervise market operations, drive regional expansion, manage satellite rollouts, and create growth reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as AzamPesa’s regional face, fostering relationships with aggregators, channel partners, and local stakeholders.
  • Customer Experience: Lead the ground team to improve service delivery and oversee effective asset distribution (e.g., biometric devices, signage).
  • Performance Management: Conduct daily and monthly performance reviews with Aggregators, Wakalas, and Freelancers to enhance productivity.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Monitor market trends and report insights via structured tools like MIT Reports.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate with marketing, tech, and safety teams to ensure agile, innovative operations.

Job 2: Merchants (Lipa Hapa) Manager

Position Summary:

AzamPesa is looking for a Merchants (Lipa Hapa) Manager to lead the acquisition and management of merchant partnerships. You’ll drive the adoption of our Lipa Hapa solution while ensuring smooth technical integrations and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing within telecom or banking.
  • Certifications and membership in professional bodies are an added advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of mobile money and merchant ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding: Design and execute strategies to onboard merchants and support integration processes.
