Role Purpose

The Business Development Manager – Pension will drive growth initiatives in the pensions sector, identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and enhance Jubilee’s market share in both corporate and personal pension plans. The role ensures full compliance with policies while delivering revenue and strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Branding

Conduct market research on clients, trends, and competitors.
Promote Jubilee Life as the preferred brand for pension solutions.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Identify and engage with potential pension clients.
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.

3. Business Growth & Revenue Generation

Develop and implement strategies to meet sales and growth targets.
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

4. Intermediary & Partner Engagement

Build strategic relationships with intermediaries and distribution partners.

5. Proposal Development & Negotiation

Create compelling proposals for clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms.

6. Market & Competitor Research

Analyze public and private pension schemes and market trends.
Benchmark competitors’ products and services.

7. Sales Strategy Execution

Develop and implement a targeted sales plan.
Secure pension mandates and expand market share.

8. Product Customization

Collaborate with Actuarial and Underwriting to tailor pension products.

9. Client Onboarding & Service

Oversee onboarding and provide continuous client service.
Track performance and resolve service issues promptly.

10. Client Reviews & Insights

Conduct review meetings and share updates on regulation and performance.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

Adhere to insurance laws and internal policies.
Ensure data protection and customer confidentiality.
Participate in audits and address compliance gaps.
