To realize this vision, CCECC is inviting applications from skilled professionals to fill nine specialized roles across three key engineering disciplines. This is your chance to work on a landmark project and build a lasting impact. Available Positions

1. Railway Engineering Planning and Contract Engineers (3 Positions)

Overview: These engineers will take charge of the contractual and planning aspects of the project, ensuring all agreements, procedures, and variations comply with international and local standards. This role calls for a strategic thinker with both engineering and legal acumen.

Key Duties:

  • Draft and manage subcontracts, procurement, and lease agreements
  • Administer engineering variations and claims documentation
  • Collaborate on construction scheduling and organizational planning
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and FIDIC regulations
  • Analyze project data to control costs and enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s or higher in Civil Engineering, Law, or Engineering Management
  • Experience: At least 3 years in international contract management, preferably in rail
  • Skills: Familiar with FIDIC clauses, railway drawings, Tanzanian laws
  • Language: Fluent in English; Swahili/Chinese a plus
  • Other: Age 25–45, medically fit, must complete safety training

Location: Tabora to Kigoma, Tanzania (may include Dar es Salaam)

2. Railway Engineering Test Engineers (3 Positions)

Overview: Focused on quality assurance, these engineers will be responsible for material testing and inspection across the SGR project. Precision and analytical skill are key to ensuring construction integrity and safety.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct soil, concrete, and asphalt performance tests
  • Coordinate third-party inspections for materials and structures
  • Maintain lab equipment and manage testing workflows
  • Prepare technical reports and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Associate degree or higher in Materials Science or Construction Engineering
  • Experience: 3+ years in engineering testing, preferably rail or infrastructure
  • Certifications: Testing certifications preferred; knowledge of AREMA and Tanzanian standards
  • Language: Fluent in English; Swahili/Chinese preferred
  • Other: Age 25–45, medically fit, safety training required

3. Subgrade Engineers (3 Positions)
