Puma Energy, a global energy company committed to sustainable fuel solutions, is seeking a qualified and experienced CNG Station Supervisor to join its dynamic operations team in May 2025. This full-time role is a crucial component of Puma Energy’s mission to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-centric management of its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations, which include filling, mother, and daughter facilities.
Main Purpose of the Role
The CNG Station Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of assigned CNG stations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, supervising station personnel, and supporting commercial targets. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, operational acumen, and leadership capability to maintain safe, efficient, and customer-friendly station operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Supervise daily functions of the CNG station with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Manage the proper storage, handling, and dispensing of CNG in line with industry standards.
- Maintain station hygiene and orderliness, especially in customer waiting areas.
2. Safety and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with CNG safety protocols and local regulatory standards.
- Conduct and oversee regular inspections of equipment and pipelines.
- Ensure all staff are well-trained on emergency response and safe handling of CNG.
- Promptly report incidents, leaks, or any safety concerns with detailed documentation.
3. Staff Supervision and Development
- Oversee station staff including gas attendants, ensuring responsibilities are met.
- Assist in training employees on technical processes, safety, and customer service.
- Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and manage shift schedules.
4. Customer Service and Sales Support
- Ensure top-tier customer experience by addressing queries and resolving complaints swiftly.
- Collaborate with station managers on promotional and sales strategies.
- Evaluate customer feedback and recommend service enhancements.

5. Equipment Maintenance and Technical Oversight
- Inspect and ensure functionality of all major CNG equipment such as:
- Compressors, cascade storage units, dryers, filters, dispensers
- Pressure regulation systems, trailer filling and decanting panels
- Coordinate with technical teams for maintenance and urgent repairs.
- Maintain calibration standards and promptly report any faults.
6. Reporting and Documentation
- Keep accurate records of daily fuel sales, inventories, and financial transactions.
- Submit daily operational and safety reports to the Station Manager.
- Maintain logs for inspections, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in CNG station operations and maintenance.
- Strong background in the functionality of CNG systems: compressors, filters, dryers, and cascade storage.
- In-depth understanding of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) protocols.
- Proven experience in managing operations, staff coordination, and compliance.
Essential Skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and system schematics.
- Proficient in CNG industry standards, safety regulations, and emergency response.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and communication.
- Experience using maintenance management software is advantageous.

Education and Certifications
