Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure time-sensitive documents and packages are picked up, handled, and delivered safely and punctually.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions to meet DHL’s and customers’ expectations.
- Perform pre-start checks on assigned vehicle/motorbike and promptly report any abnormalities.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of allocated vehicle/motorbike.
- Follow all DHL policies and procedures, including safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Represent the company professionally by being punctual, well-groomed, and courteous.
- Provide timely feedback on service incidents to the customer service team.
- Generate and forward quality sales leads to the sales team.
- Follow up on all customer inquiries and escalate service-related issues to supervisors or team leaders as necessary.
- Assist in implementing office best practices as assigned by management.
- Constantly seek and implement opportunities for operational improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Tanzanian driver’s license.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Six).
- VETA Training Certificate (added advantage).
- Basic understanding of logistics or courier service operations.
- Strong communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
