As Manager – Operational Risk, you will play a critical role in protecting the bank’s operations from potential disruptions and losses. From ensuring robust internal controls to leading risk mitigation strategies, your expertise will help shape a resilient and forward-thinking risk culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and monitor operational risks across all departments—covering people, processes, systems, and external events.
- Develop and continuously update risk management policies and frameworks in line with DTB’s risk appetite and regulatory standards.
- Oversee and implement essential risk tools such as:
- Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
- Loss Data Management (LDM)
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Conduct independent assurance reviews and control tests to challenge and enhance current internal control mechanisms.
- Prepare and deliver detailed risk reports with actionable insights to senior management and the Risk Committee.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., in Banking, Risk, or Accounting) are an added advantage.
- At least 4 years of experience in the banking sector, ideally across both branch operations and support units—or in fields like audit, business analysis, or risk management.
