Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers, documents, and materials to designated destinations on time.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained through regular servicing and monitoring repairs at authorized service centers.
- Maintain full awareness of surroundings and respond appropriately in case of emergencies.
- Adhere strictly to host country traffic laws and embassy driving protocols.
- Be familiar with Dar es Salaam’s roads, major landmarks, government offices, organizations, and diplomatic missions.
- Work flexible hours, including after-hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Education Requirements:
- Completed Secondary or Advanced Level Education.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience as a professional driver.
- Strong knowledge of GPS and online navigation tools.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and adherence to diplomatic protocol.
- Must pass medical and health checks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and flexibly in a small office environment.
- Must have legal authorization to live and work in Tanzania before recruitment.
