About the Role
The Finance & Administration Officer will play a vital role in ensuring efficient financial management and smooth administrative operations. The position requires someone detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about transparency and accountability in nonprofit work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
- Supporting audits, budgeting, and fund management.
- Handling administrative functions to support program implementation.
- Promoting transparent and effective use of resources.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance (NGO or private sector).
- Knowledge of fund accounting and donor compliance is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
