First Round of 20252026 University Admissions Complete in Tanzania, Universities are now publishing the lists of successful applicants. Key highlights from the first round include:
- 146,879 applicants submitted applications.
- 116,596 (79.4%) of these applicants were admitted to their chosen institutions.
- A total of 894 programs were available, an increase of 38 programs from last year.
- The overall number of admission slots has risen by 6,666, bringing the total to 205,652.
Action Required: Confirmation for Admitted Students
Students admitted to more than one university must confirm their enrollment at a single institution.

Second Round of Admissions is Now Open!
The second round of undergraduate admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year has begun and will run from September 3 to September 21, 2025, This is a crucial opportunity for two groups of applicants:
- Those who missed the first application window.
- Those who were not selected in the first round.
Universities have been instructed to publicly list all programs that still have available spaces. Applicants and universities must adhere to the official admission calendar, which is available on the TCU website.
