Now Hiring: Security Guards (40 Positions)
As a Security Guard at Hesu, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and security of our ICD, CFS, and transportation networks. This position requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to manage a dynamic environment where cargo and personnel are constantly on the move.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect client property and personnel
- Monitor access points and cargo flow
- Report and respond to incidents promptly
- Communicate with supervisors and law enforcement as needed
- Maintain accurate logs and security reports
- Represent strength and integrity at all times
Role Expectations
- Arrive at post 15 minutes early, fully equipped
- Be well-versed with post orders and protocols
- Handle emergencies calmly and professionally
- Keep detailed occurrence books and shift logs
- Provide useful observations and feedback to the control team
Qualifications
- Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)
- Completion of one or more of the following:
- Militia Training
- National Service
- Basic Police or Prison Training
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Also Hiring: Riders (5 Positions)
Job Summary
The Rider ensures smooth transportation of essential documents, spare parts, and materials between the ICD, CFS, and other logistics points. This role requires road safety awareness, time management, and the ability to handle sensitive operational tasks.
Core Duties
- Transport goods, documents, and spare parts efficiently
- Operate motorcycles safely in urban and off-road areas
- Assist with loading and unloading tasks
- Communicate status updates to control rooms
- Maintain professionalism during client and law enforcement interactions
Requirements
- Valid motorcycle driving license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar logistics or security escort role
- Familiarity with Dar es Salaam routes, especially from the port to the ICD
- Strong physical fitness and endurance
- Radio communication skills and equipment handling knowledge
- Ethical, disciplined, and trustworthy conduct
