Position Overview: Investment Officer Intern (4 Positions)
As an Investment Officer Intern, you will be at the heart of our customer engagement strategy — from identifying potential clients to evaluating loan applications and monitoring customer progress. This internship will provide real-world exposure to investment processes and client portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Application Support
- Identify and approach potential clients in target areas
- Explain Duara’s products and services to prospective customers
- Assist applicants through the pre-loan advisory process
Loan Appraisal & Evaluation
- Conduct detailed assessments of loan applications, including field visits
- Evaluate business viability, applicant credibility, and financial health
- Make informed investment recommendations to Branch or Zonal Managers
Customer Portfolio Management
- Oversee a portfolio of active clients, ensuring timely follow-up and support
- Conduct routine site visits and calls to monitor business progress
- Work closely with the training team to assess client capacity-building needs
- Help organize training sessions and customer networking events
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records and client data in Duara’s digital system
Qualifications & Skills
- Recent university graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to travel locally for fieldwork
