Qualified Tanzanian citizens are now invited to apply for the following job vacancies:
Position: Driver Grade II – 4 Positions
Qualifications:
- Must have a Form Four (Certificate of Secondary Education – CSEE).
- Must possess a valid driving license Class E or C.
- At least one year of driving experience without causing any accident.
- Must have attended basic vocational training (VETA) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety.
- Transport staff to various destinations for official duties.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Collect and deliver official documents.
- Accurately record all trips in the vehicle logbook.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Salary Scale:
- Government Salary Scale – TGS B.
General Application Requirements:
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
- Applicants must attach a Birth Certificate.
- Applicants must submit a detailed CV that includes reliable contact details and the names of at least two referees.
- Applicants must upload copies of academic certificates, including Form Four, Form Six, and any relevant professional qualifications, via the Recruitment Portal.
- The system does not accept provisional results, statements of results, or result slips.
- Applicants must attach two recent passport-sized photos.
- Applicants who studied abroad must verify and approve their certificates through TCU, NECTA, or NACTE.
- Retired public servants must not apply unless they obtain formal approval from the Chief Secretary.
- Applicants currently working in entry-level positions in the Public Service must not apply unless instructed otherwise through Circular Ref. No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 29 November 2010.
- Authorities will take legal action against anyone who forges or misrepresents information.
