The Chief of the National Service (JKT), Major General Rajabu Nduku Mabele, officially calls upon all students who completed their Form Six education in 2025 from schools across Mainland Tanzania to report for compulsory National Service training under the National Service Act for the year 2025. Therefore, they are required to report to their respective camps between May 28, 2025, and June 8, 2025.

Designated JKT Camps for Training
The selected camps include:
- JKT Rwamkoma (Mara), JKT Msange (Tabora), JKT Ruvu and JKT Kibiti (Pwani)
- JKT Mpwapwa, JKT Makutupora (Dodoma), JKT Mafinga (Iringa), JKT Mlale (Ruvuma)
- JKT Mgambo and JKT Maramba (Tanga), JKT Makuyuni and JKT Orjolo (Arusha)
- JKT Bulombora, JKT Kanembwa, and JKT Mtabila (Kigoma)
- JKT Itaka (Songwe), JKT Luwa and JKT Milundikwa (Rukwa), and JKT Nachingwea (Lindi)
Candidates with visible physical disabilities are instructed to report to Ruvu JKT Camp, located in Mlandizi, Coast Region, which is equipped with facilities to support individuals with functional needs.
Required Items for Reporting
All selected youths must report with the following items:
- Dark blue shorts (Bukta) with elastic waistband, single back pocket, knee-length, and no zipper.
- Green T-shirt
- Sports shoes (green or blue)
- Two navy-blue bed sheets
- Long black socks
- Warm clothing (for those posted to cold regions)
- Green or blue tracksuit
- All necessary documents for higher education enrollment, including birth certificate, Form IV and Form VI certificates
- Transport fare for both reporting to the camp and returning home

Mission and Values of JKT Training
Major General Mabele invites all 2025 Form Six graduates to join their fellow youth in undergoing National Service training to:
- Build patriotism and national unity
- Gain practical life skills and vocational training
- Learn discipline and readiness to serve and develop their nation
Legal and Eligibility Requirements
These recruits are joining under the legal framework (Mujibu wa Sheria), which mandates:
- Tanzanian citizenship
- Age between 18–35 years
- Completion of Form Six or higher
- Good conduct and willingness to follow military rules, and also
- Strict prohibition of drug use, misconduct, and absenteeism (violators will be prosecuted or have their contract terminated)
About JKT Recruitment Process
However, Each year, Waliochaguliwa JKT 2025 mujibu wa sheria collaborates with Regional and District Defense and Security Committees to recruit youth from all regions. Selection begins at the regional level, with allocations passed down to districts and wards. Hence Final vetting is done by JKT officers, who conduct medical checks and coordinate transport to designated camps.
