The Executive Director of Kishapu District Council is inviting applications from competent and dedicated Tanzanian citizens to fill three (3) contractual positions for Accounts Assistant. - Job Title: Accounts Assistant
- Number of Posts: Three (3)
- Employment Type: One-year renewable contract
- Monthly Salary: TZS 450,000 (Salary scale: TGS B)
- Duty Station: Various locations within Kishapu District
Who Can Apply?
- A citizen of Tanzania.
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Hold at least a Form Four (O-Level) certificate or higher.
- Have formal education in Accounting.
- Possess an ATEC Level II or NBAA Foundation Level certificate.
- Be trustworthy and ethical.
- Provide two (2) certified guarantors with letters endorsed by a government authority.
- Have more than one year of proven work experience in accounting.
- Be ready to work in any health facility or office within Kishapu District Council.
- Must be medically fit and able to perform duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting registers.
- Preparing payment and receipt vouchers.
- Filing and securing financial records.
- Delivering accounting documents and correspondence to banks.
- Reconciling imprests, loans, bank accounts, and deposits.
