Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the KOICA Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Tanzanian national under the age of 40 (unless stated otherwise by the university).
- Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants or a Master’s for PhD applicants.
- Possess strong English communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply, provided they meet health requirements.
- Must not have previously completed a KOICA-funded Master’s or PhD program.
- Individuals who withdrew or canceled a KOICA program are not eligible to reapply.
- Applications must be typed in English and signed by hand.
- Submit proof of English language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) along with other documents.

- Completed KOICA Application Form
- Completed University Application Form with all required attachments
- Academic Certificates and Transcripts
- Two Recommendation Letters (signed and sealed)
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English
- Photocopy of a Valid Digital Passport
