About the Role
As a Relationship Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing and expanding Mkombozi Bank’s client base in Iringa. This position is focused on developing strong relationships with individual and small business clients by offering personalized banking solutions. From account openings and loan applications to cross-selling financial products, you will be at the forefront of enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with retail clients and small businesses
- Promote and sell a variety of banking products including savings accounts, current accounts, loans, and investment solutions
- Support customers through the loan application and credit evaluation process
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client retention and satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling bank services
- Achieve set targets in client acquisition and revenue generation
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in retail banking, consumer lending, or financial services (preferred)
- Strong understanding of banking products and credit assessment processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and decision-making abilities
