Available Positions and Requirements
Driver Grade II – 11 Positions Available
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety.
- Driving staff to various destinations for official duties.
- Performing minor vehicle repairs.
- Maintaining the vehicle logbook.
- Distributing and collecting official documents.
- Cleaning and maintaining the vehicle.
- Carrying out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have completed Form IV (Certificate of Secondary Education Examination).
- Possess a valid driving license Class C or E.
- Have at least one (1) year of accident-free driving experience.
- Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from VETA or any other government-recognized training institution.
Salary Scale: TGS B (According to Government Salary Scales)
Records Management Assistant Grade II – 4 Positions Available
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Registering incoming and outgoing correspondence in the registry.
- Distributing files to the relevant officers.
- Receiving returned files from staff and returning them to filing cabinets.
- Tracking the movement of files within the institution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have completed Form IV or VI and hold a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized institution.
- Must have computer literacy skills.
Salary Scale: TGS C (According to Government Salary Scales)

- Citizenship & Age: Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 45 years.
- Curriculum Vitae: Submit a detailed CV including active contact information and names of three credible referees.
- Certified Copies: Attach copies of academic and professional certificates certified by an advocate or legal officer.
- Disallowed Documents: Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Testimonials, and unverified foreign certificates will not be accepted.
- Foreign Education: Applicants who studied abroad must have their certificates verified by TCU, NECTA, or NACTE.
- Retired Public Servants: Those previously retired from public service are not eligible unless cleared by the Chief Secretary.
- Fraudulent Information: Any forgery will result in legal action.
