These job openings follow the official government permit No. FA.97/228/01/A/25 issued on April 29, 2025, by the Permanent Secretary in the President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance. The council invites eligible candidates to apply for the following positions:
Open Positions
1. Records Management Assistant II – 5 Vacancies
Job Responsibilities:
- Register all incoming and outgoing correspondence in respective logs
- Distribute files to relevant officers and retrieve them when necessary
- Track file circulation within the office
- Maintain orderly storage of documents and files
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Tanzanian citizen with Form IV or Form VI education
- Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management or Archives from a government-recognized institution
- Computer literacy is required
Salary Scale: TGS C – As per government salary structure
2. Driver II – 5 Vacancies
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Drive staff to various official destinations
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Collect and deliver official documents
- Keep accurate vehicle logbooks
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Form IV certificate
- Valid Class E or C driver’s license with at least one year of accident-free driving experience
- Certificate from a recognized driving school (e.g., VETA)
- Must have completed a Basic Driving Course
Salary Scale: TGS B – As per government salary structure
General Requirements for All Applicants
- Must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 (unless already working in government)
