1. Radio News Reporter – 3 Positions

Qualifications:

Minimum education of Form Four with passes in Kiswahili, English, and Civics.
Possession of a Certificate or Diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a government-recognized institution.
At least one year of relevant experience in government or recognized media organizations.
Must not have been dismissed from work, prosecuted, or convicted of crimes such as theft or misconduct.
Must demonstrate integrity and discipline.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen and possess a valid National ID (NIDA).

Duties:

Collect and broadcast news on mobile radio platforms.
Report on local and international news.
Perform other tasks related to news reporting as assigned.

Salary: Government Salary Scale TGS B

2. Assistant Radio Technician – 2 Positions

Qualifications:

Minimum education of Form Four.
Studied technical or computer communication fields.
At least one year of experience in radio equipment operation and maintenance.
Proficient in Kiswahili and English.
No prior record of dismissal, prosecution, or conviction for criminal offenses.
Must demonstrate good character.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen and possess a valid National ID (NIDA).

Duties:

Operate and maintain technical radio equipment.
Conduct cleaning, repairs, and adjustments to tools and broadcasting gear.
Safely manage and maintain tools and assist in procurement and inventory.
Assist in technical support for content production, including budgeting.
Maintain records and submit timely reports.
Perform any additional duties assigned by a supervisor.

3. Program Producer/Content Developer Assistant – 1 Position

Qualifications:

Minimum education of Form Four.
Studied media, production, or communication fields.
At least one year of experience in radio program creation and production.
Proficient in Kiswahili and English.
No history of dismissal or conviction.
Must be honest and of good character.
Must be a Tanzanian citizen and possess a valid National ID (NIDA).

Duties:

Assist in producing various radio programs.
Prepare and manage music-related programs.
Assist in developing educational and community development content.
Edit audio content based on scripts.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Salary: Government Salary Scale TGS B

General Application Requirements:

Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 45 years.
Must not have any criminal record or previous conviction.
Attach certified copies of academic certificates, including Form IV and VI certificates, signed by a recognized magistrate or advocate.
Attach a certified copy of the birth certificate.
Attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a valid address, phone number, three referees, and a recent passport-size photograph (with your name written on the back).
Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and transcripts without certificates will not be accepted.
Applicants with foreign certificates must have them verified and approved by relevant authorities (NECTA or NACTE).
Public servants already employed in entry-level positions are not eligible to apply.
Submission of forged documents will result in legal action.
All applications must be written in Kiswahili.
