Aircraft Maintenance Technician (4 Positions)

Job Purpose:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, replacements, and inspections on aircraft and related systems, ensuring compliance with TCAA regulations and internal procedures. This role plays a key part in maintaining airworthiness, operational efficiency, and the safety of both passengers and crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute both routine and non-routine maintenance tasks for the timely release of aircraft.
  • Perform system repairs, component overhauls, and service bulletin implementation.
  • Maintain cabin systems and in-flight entertainment (IFE) to enhance customer comfort.
  • Accurately record all maintenance activities in accordance with aircraft history logs.
  • Requisition and identify necessary parts for repairs and scheduled maintenance.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and materials while upholding safety standards.
  • Tow aircraft to and from hangars, coordinating with the control tower and apron teams.
  • Conduct safety and security checks following internal manuals.
  • Report incidents and accidents as per company procedures.
  • Guide and mentor intern technicians to improve team proficiency.
  • Progress towards obtaining basic aviation licenses.
  • Comply with Safety Management Manual (SMM) standards (Doc ref. PW/CM/002).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in interpreting aircraft technical documents and systems.
  • Knowledge of TCAA regulations and aviation maintenance protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Human factors awareness and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Completed approved apprenticeship training.
  • Completed Aircraft Type Rating Course.
  • Proficiency in using technical computer applications.
  • Completed Airside Safety Training.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years in aircraft maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with various aircraft systems and components.

Apprentice – Tools Control & Customer Key Account Engineer (1 Position)

Job Purpose:

This is a developmental role designed to equip a graduate engineer with practical experience in tools and equipment management and customer service support. You will assist in monitoring tool functionality, ensure timely calibration, and support third-party maintenance and engineering (M&E) services to meet customer expectations.

Key Learning Responsibilities:

  • Understand the full tools receipt and documentation process, including QA and tagging.
  • Learn to track and maintain the service history of all tools and equipment.
  • Ensure tools requiring calibration are serviced on time and records are updated.
  • Support the preparation of accurate quotations and sales invoices for third-party services.
  • Collaborate with procurement for tool calibration scheduling and logistics.
  • Attend inter-departmental meetings to align services with technical teams.
  • Assist in reviewing service agreements and customer terms and conditions.
  • Learn to maintain customer accounts and provide technical support for service delivery.
  • Contribute to safety practices by following all safety standards and company protocols.
  • Participate in identifying service improvement opportunities.
  • Adhere to responsibilities as outlined in the Safety Management Manual (SMM).

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with ERP software and M&E procedures.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace systems.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Exposure to maintenance and engineering through at least one year of work experience or internship.
