About the Opportunity
The Executive Director of the Rombo District Council invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for 100 contract-based positions in revenue collection. This role is part of a vital effort to strengthen local revenue systems and promote effective financial management in the district.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed Form Four (O-Level) or Form Six (A-Level) education.
- Must hold a Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Must be a resident of Rombo District.
- Must be willing and able to work in any location assigned by the Council.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Collect government revenue efficiently and transparently.
- Identify potential revenue sources within the district.
- Remain present and active at their assigned duty stations at all times.
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Tanzanian citizens, aged between 18 and 40 years.
- Attach a copy of their birth certificate.
- Include a detailed CV with reliable contact information and at least two references.
- Attach certified copies of Form Four, Form Six, and professional certificates.
- Provide a valid National ID, Voter’s ID, or NIDA number.
- Attach two recent passport-size photographs (name written on the back).
- Demonstrate basic computer skills—priority will be given to applicants with driving skills and personal motorcycles.
- Be capable of using a smartphone.
- Present two reliable guarantors.
