About the Role
As a SOC Analyst at DTB Bank, you’ll be at the frontline of cybersecurity defense—detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents. You’ll work closely with IT and risk teams to ensure the organization’s systems are resilient against cyberattacks while continuously improving defense mechanisms.
Your core mission will be to analyze, manage, and resolve security incidents to protect DTB’s networks and sensitive information. This position is ideal for a results-driven individual with strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor network and system logs to detect suspicious activity.
- Analyze the effectiveness of DTB’s existing security controls and recommend improvements.
- Ensure all network systems are secure and protected from unauthorized access.
- Identify and investigate intrusions, differentiating between false alarms and real threats.
- Lead and track investigations through to resolution.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, findings, and resolutions for management and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security advisories.
- Conduct security device configuration reviews and suggest enhancements.
- Collaborate with ICT, ICT Audit, and Risk teams to strengthen overall cyber defense.
- Manage vulnerabilities, patches, and security upgrades to maintain a secure IT environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as ECSA, CEH, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or OSCP are required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a SOC environment or cybersecurity operations.
- Strong knowledge of incident detection, management, and response procedures.
- Practical experience in threat intelligence and threat hunting.
