About the Role – Senior Online Producer (August 2025)
As the Senior Online Producer, you’ll be the driving force behind Azam Media’s online content. This role blends creativity with strategy, requiring strong editorial judgment, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital audiences. You’ll manage a dynamic team, shape engaging multimedia content, and ensure Azam’s digital voice is impactful, timely, and on brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Digital Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of compelling social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and more.
- Team Management: Supervise a team of producers—assign tasks, review output, and maintain high editorial standards.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with editors, reporters, designers, and marketers to deliver cohesive, multimedia-rich stories tailored to platform audiences.
- Analytics & Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics, analyze content engagement, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
- Breaking News Response: Act quickly during breaking news and trending events, delivering timely and brand-aligned content without compromising journalistic ethics.
- Content Planning: Maintain and update a content calendar that aligns with editorial goals and wider organizational campaigns.
- Mentorship & Training: Guide junior producers in best practices for social media content and ethical storytelling.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all content follows copyright, privacy laws, defamation standards, and platform-specific guidelines.

- Proven track record in creating engaging social media content (video, text, graphics, interactive)
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage deadlines effectively
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media algorithms, audience trends, and digital media innovation
- Proficiency with tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and more
