As a Constituent College of Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA), SMMUCo stands as a beacon of excellence in higher education, located at Masoka Village—just 14 km north of Moshi Municipality in the beautiful Kilimanjaro Region. As the institution prepares to resume student admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year, it seeks to strengthen its academic staff by recruiting competent Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers in various disciplines.

General Qualifications
Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens of integrity, strong academic background, and proven teaching or research experience.
For Lecturers:
- PhD in a relevant field
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 at undergraduate level
- Minimum GPA of 4.0 at master’s level
For Assistant Lecturers:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 at undergraduate level
- Minimum GPA of 4.0 at master’s level
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Teach and guide undergraduate students
- Supervise and mentor students in research and academic projects
- Participate in research, consultancy, and community outreach programs
- Disseminate research findings and contribute to publications
- Provide leadership and academic support within the college
